1. Zomato GV/GC are issued by Pinelabs Private Limited (“Pinelabs”), a private limited company incorporated under the laws of India, and is authorized by the RBI under the Master Directions on Prepaid Payment Instruments (“PPI Master Directions”) to issue GV/GC with Zomato Limited as the co-branding partner.
2. By purchasing the GV/GC, using or redeeming the GV/GC, the user agrees to accept and to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. The GV/GC bears a 16-digit electronic PPI number along with a 6-digit pin and it can be redeemed towards the purchase of eligible products on the Zomato Platform.
4. The GV/GC is non-refundable; it can’t be used to purchase other GV/GC, and can’t be exchanged, transferred, resold, reloaded, or redeemed for cash.
5. As a prerequisite to redeeming the GV/GC, the User will be required to add the value stored on the GV/GC to their valid account on the Zomato Platform.
6. The loading of the GV/GC onto the Zomato Platform shall constitute a registration of the User with Pinelabs.
7. The GV/GC can be combined with promotional codes and other digital payment options at Zomato’s or its affiliate’s discretion.
8. The unused GV/GC balances in the Zomato Account can’t be transferred to another Zomato Account.
9. There is no fee or other charges associated with the GV/GC purchase on the Zomato Platform.
10. Credit and debit cards issued outside India can’t be used to purchase GV/GC.
11. If the purchase amount on Zomato exceeds the Zomato Account GV/GC balance, the User must pay the remaining amount using another digital payment method.
12. The user understands that the GV/GC is a prepaid payment instrument regulated by the RBI. As required by law, Zomato/Pinelabs may share purchaser/redeemer and transaction details with the RBI or other government/statutory authorities, and may contact the purchaser/redeemer for additional information. By registering the GV/GC, the user explicitly consents to the use of their personal information to comply with RBI guidelines and regulations.
13. Zomato reserves the right to change the GV/GC terms and conditions from time to time at its discretion and without prior notice to the User.
14. If the GV/GC is non-functional, the User’s sole remedy (and Pinelabs/ Zomato’s sole potential liability) shall be the replacement of such GV/GC, for the value remaining in the non-functional GV/GC.
15. Zomato shall consider requests for blocking of GV/GC only from Users who have registered in accordance with the terms above.
16. Zomato reserves the right to deny accepting any GV/GC if it suspects that there is duplicity of GV/GC.
17. Zomato reserves the right to void the GV/GC, close customer accounts and take payment from alternative forms of payment if (a) a fraudulently or unlawfully obtained GV/GC is redeemed and/or used to make purchases on the Zomato Platform, and/or (b) the beneficiary/KYC details as per RBI guidelines are found to be incorrect/insufficient. In such cases, the funds shall be credited back to the source account.
18. Fraudulent/unlawful/misuse of GV/GC shall result in cancellation of the order, which has been made using the GV/GC without any liability of Zomato.
19. In case of any cancellation of orders purchased using GV/GC, the amount will be added to the User’s GV/GC balance.
20. In no event shall the liability of Zomato for any claims arising by the purchase or usage of GV/GC exceed the value of the respective GV/GC.

22. The courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any disputes arising in relation to GV/GC.
23. GV/GC are normally delivered instantly. But sometimes due to system issues, the delivery can be delayed up-to 24-48 hours.
